Sat, 15 Mar 2014 03:24:32 GMT — Nearly 50 vehicles were cleared off the Ohio Turnpike following a fatal crash on Wednesday between Sandusky and Erie County. All but two of those vehicles are now towed from the accident scene, after a pileup that left three people dead. Crews at Madison Motor Service, Inc. in Fremont have worked around the clock to clear the carnage. Owners say the wreckage from over 28 tractor-trailers and other vehicles is the most in the Madison Motors lot at one time. Ohio Highway Patrol officers continued to investigate the crash and vehicles at the lot through Friday.
