Two drivers injured in head on SR 2 crash

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a head on crash that injured two drivers Saturday afternoon.


roopers say the crash happened State Route 2 near U.S. 250 around 1:30pm.

it was discovered that a vehicle driven by 81-year-old Mary Fox of Sandusky made a U-turn on State Route 2 and drove in the opposite lane, crashing head on into a vehicle driven by 60-year-old Jaqueline Zupka of Macedonia.


upka was taken to Firelands Regional Medical Center with minor injuries. Fox was taken to the same hospital with what officials describe as incapacitating injuries. Both drivers were wearing their seat belts.
