1,170 Lucas County residents cast ballots on the last day of early voting in Toledo. Linda Lawrence of Toledo is one of many who waited for up to two hours to vote. "I have always voted, but this one is very important to me and we have been waiting out here for two hours but I am determined to come and vote today," Ms. Lawrence said.
Lucas County Commissioner Pete Gerken says polling places are ready for voters on Tuesday. "For the first time ever, we will have technicians at the polling places so that poll workers won't have to leave their booths to go fix a voting machine," Commissioner Gerken said.
In Ohio the polls open at 6:30 a.m. and close at 7:30 p.m.
