Two Toledo firefighters injured in blaze

      Toledo firefighters battle a blaze at an apartment complex near the Huron Market.

      Two fire fighters were injured Sunday while battling a blaze by a convenience store near downtown Toledo.

      The Toledo Fire Department says the fire broke out inside a garage connected to the store at Huron Street and Magnolia Street.

      Both fire fighters were taken to an area hospital shortly before 4 p.m. with critical injuries. There is no official word from the Toledo Fire Department on the firefighters' conditions; however, there are unconfirmed reports that their injuries were fatal.

      City officials are expected to release more information Sunday evening.
