We Are Ohio's union leaders snubbed a collective bargaining compromise that Gov. John Kasich dangled before them on Friday. A spokeswoman for the organized labor group told the Associated Press that the coalition will not negotiate until the collective bargaining overhaul, Senate Bill 5, is repealed.

Woody Allen said 90 percent of life is showing up, and they TMve obviously flunked that test today, TM TM the GOP governor told The Blade. I think frankly they TMre pretty divided. I do believe there are people who are a part of that coalition who would like to sit and talk to us.

Representatives of major unions, including the Fraternal Order of Police and AFSCME previously said they would not attend the compromise and that Kasich never directly approached them about talks.

State lawmakers are on summer recess and any such vote is unlikely.

Do you think union leaders need to be willing to compromise or is Gov. Kasich out of luck? Weigh in below.
