Univ. of Toledo limiting on-campus smoking

The University of Toledo is cracking down on where you can and can not light up on campus. On August 15, 2011 a new tobacco policy takes effect.

The university is building 7 smoking shelters across the campus to keep secondhand smoke confined.

UT tells NBC 24 News, the new policy will be enforced among all students, faculty, staff and visitors.

Tobacco use will be permitted in personal vehicles.
