Toledo Police have made an arrest in a shooting at a carryout on Monday night.
19-year-old Jerold Evans has been charged with carrying a concealed weapon and aggravated menacing but not with shooting anyone.
According to court documents, that's because Evans was actually the one shot in the incident at Howard's Carryout on Nebraska.
Witnesses told police that Evans walked into the store just before midnight when he allegedly began threatening to shoot his ex-girlfriend who was also inside the business.
That's when, investigators say that store owner Bobby Howard shot Evans.
Howard, who is 71-years-old, will not face any charges for shooting Evans.
Evans is scheduled to appear before a Toledo Municipal Court judge at 9 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9.
