Update: Still no charges in Swanton pedestrian's death

Authorities have said that the driver, Rebecca Yarberry, was cooperating with their investigation.

More than 2 months after a 30-year-old Swanton woman was allegedly run over, while walking her dog, charges have yet to be filed in the case.

Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) investigators said, in April, that Haylee Brandt died from the injuries she sustained in a pedestrian accident.

Authorities initially reported that Brandt was walking her dog along the right edge of North Main Street when she was hit by a vehicle.

Investigators identified the driver, early on, as 20-year-old Rebecca Sue Yarberry who did not stop after the collision.

Yarberry did, however, eventually report "knowledge of the crash" to Swanton Police.

Two weeks after the accident, an OHSP investigator said an effort was underway to bring all the parties involved together to determine exactly what happened.

When NBC24 contacted the Fulton County Prosecutor's Office for an update on the story, Tuesday, a staffer said that OSHP had not yet submitted the findings of their investigation.
