VEX ROBOTICS Camp engages students with constructive learning opportunities

Roughly 50 middle and high school students from Perrysburg have spent three days at VEX ROBOTICS Camp.

The camp introduces students to the process of constructing a robot. First they design their bots and program them to do tasks given by an instructor. If there are design flaws, the students work to fix them. Then they ultimately compete against each other.

"Most people like to do the electronics and stuff and this is just like that," said participant Jordan Brosnan. "You get to program your things and you're getting the things you want to do with technology and you get to interact with other people."

The camp is also a good way to meet kids with similar interests and to keep them learning over the summer.
