VIDEO: Engines fall off vehicle during BG tractor pull competition

Two of the four engines on a vehicle competing in the National Tractor Pulling Competition fell off on the track.

The National Tractor Pulling Championships wrapped up in Bowling Green on Sunday but not before some spectators got quite a scare.

As one competitor began to speed down the track, two engines off the front of the vehicle fell off and rolled toward a group of spectators.

Fortunately, a concrete barrier used to keep debris from hitting anyone in the crowd was able to keep the equipment on the track.

According to one estimate, each of the engines can be worth between $50,000 to $70,000.
