      Volunteer at the Toledo Zoo

The Toledo Zoo is accepting volunteer applications.

Do you love your zoo? If yes, volunteer opportunities are heading your way at the Toledo Zoo.

Adults 18 and over are invited to apply for two programs: Exhibit guides and clerical volunteers. Those interested in becoming a guide will work on zoo grounds to educate the pbulic about animals and maintian visitor traffic flow through the exhibits. Guides also help ensure the safety of the animals and visitors while promoting a positive experience for everyone, according to the zoo's press release.

Clerical volunteers help organize, prepare mailings, stuff envelopes and enter data.

??When people consider volunteering at the zoo, they typically think about the animal areas or our education department,?? said Bill Davis, volunteer manager. ??But the zoo has several offices that also want help ?? clerical volunteers are wonderful people for whom we have a real need.??
