      Walleyes team up for victims of Typhoon Haiyan

      The Toledo Walleye are asking fans to bring life-saving food and relief supplies to its Sunday game.Donation bins will be set up at the entrance gates at the Huntington Center Sunday, Nov. 17 game to help the hundreds of thousands of people who lost their homes in Philippines.Last season the Walleye and Mud Hens formed a partnership with ISOH/IMPACT to become year-round Bucket Brigade collection sites for disaster relief supplies. There are seven categories of buckets we are looking to fill: Operation Cleanup; Operation Feed-a-Family; Operation Baby Care; Operation Personal Care; Operation Famine Relief; Operation Puppy Care; Operation Kitty Care. READ: Find list of items accepted The Toledo Walleye returns home to host the Reading Royals on Sunday, Nov. 17.The Walleye will pay tribute to the brave men and women who served our country on Sunday during Veterans Appreciation Night, presented by Owens Community College.Tickets are $13 each for members of the military (veterans or active duty) and their families. The Toledo Walleye play all of their home games at the Huntington Center in downtown Toledo.
