Warrant issued for mom charged in crash that killed her infant twins

An Ida, Michigan woman has been indicted by a Wood County grand jury on two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide and one count of endangering children.

Police have said that Lori Massingil was speeding and lost control of her vehicle on November 12th, while driving over a railroad crossing on Fostoria Road in Troy Township, and flipped her car over twice in the single car crash.

Six-week-old Presley Massingil died in that accident and her twin brother, Parker, died a few days later.

An investigation revealed that reported that neither of Massingil's children was properly strapped into their car seats.

Officials added the twins' seats were too large for the infants.

A bench warrant has been issued for Lori Massingil's arrest.
