Even though snow fall has dwindled down, its aftermath creates water damage to northwest Ohio buildings.

Employees at the Toledo-Lucas County Library in Heatherdowns discovered a busted pipe Wednesday morning that left the building covered in water.

Many of the books and carpet experienced water damage and have to be freezed to restore them. Officials anticipate to open by Saturday.

Some workers at West Franklin Park Mall opened their stores to find puddles of water on their floors.

It's a common occurrence that many buildings experience after significant snowfall, but the maintenance creates a delay from normal, day-to-day operations.

A water-main break delays the start of Toledo's campus at Mercy College of Ohio. Classes won't begin until Monday, but employees are required to work the rest of the week.

A boil advisory was issued Wednesday due to a water main break. Public Works Director Kenneth Blair advises Waterville residents that live on Canal Road and Canal Court to boil their water for five minutes for the next four to five days.
