      Weather threat forces Trick-or-Treat changes

A soaking Trick-or-Treat is on tap for Thursday.

Updated as of 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday:

The threat of possible severe weather is already forcing some northwest Ohio communities to change their Trick-or-Treat plans.

Woodville and Elmore have moved their Halloween festivities to Saturday. Trick-or-Treating in both communities will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.

Genoa has also moved its Trick-or-Treating to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Allen Township, in Ottawa County, has also moved its Trick-or-Treating to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Rocky Ridge, also in Ottawa County, has moved its Halloween festivities to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

As of right now, Toledo is keeping its Halloween on Thursday, despite the threat of rain through the afternoon and evening.

During a television appearance on Wednesday evening, however, Mayor Mike Bell said that a final decision would be made at noon on Thursday.
