The threat of possible severe weather is already forcing some northwest Ohio communities to change their Trick-or-Treat plans.
Woodville and Elmore have moved their Halloween festivities to Saturday. Trick-or-Treating in both communities will take place between 6 p.m. and 8 p.m.
Genoa has also moved its Trick-or-Treating to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
Allen Township, in Ottawa County, has also moved its Trick-or-Treating to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.
Rocky Ridge, also in Ottawa County, has moved its Halloween festivities to Sunday from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
As of right now, Toledo is keeping its Halloween on Thursday, despite the threat of rain through the afternoon and evening.
During a television appearance on Wednesday evening, however, Mayor Mike Bell said that a final decision would be made at noon on Thursday.
