After a few light, hit and miss sprinkles early this morning, plenty of sunshine will dominate as we head into this afternoon.
Highs will climb into the mid and upper 80s and we'll see partly cloudy skies develop this afternoon. With that solar heating and plenty of humidity streaming in on a southerly wind, there is a 30 percent chance of some scattered thundershowers developing by mid to late afternoon. Those storms will fade as we head into the evening hours and we loose that solar energy.
We can expect more of the same tomorrow, except it will be a tad warmer and more humid, with highs getting into the upper 80s and feels-like temps well into the 90s. Late in the day, a cool front will slide through the region and deliver another round of showers and storms which will deliver a cooler and less humid day on Wednesday.
