A cold front is moving in from the west and in advance of it we will see widespread showers through the morning hours. The front will move through southeast Michigan and Northwest Ohio during the early afternoon and puch the rain off to the east. In the wake of the front we'll see winds build out of the northwest and become gusty, up to 25 - 30 mph. High temps for the day will be achieved in advance of the front, early afternoon, in the mid and upper 50's. We dry things out this afternoon and evening with skies becoming partly cloudy.
Overnight temps fall into the mid 40's under partly cloudy skies. Saturday will be the pick of the weekend with high temps near 60 degrees. Skies will be partly sunny and it will be breezy. Sunday is the focus for the weekend with the running of the Glass City Marathon. The race kicks off at 7am with temps near 40 degrees and skies becoming mostly cloudy. Unlike last year it will be a dry run with temps near 50 degrees by noon and afternoon highs maxing out in the mid 50's under partly sunny skies.
Next week doesn't take much to sum up: Wet and chilly. All. Week. Long. Brutal!
Have a great weekend and enjoy a break from the rain... you will be sick of it by the middle of next week.
