Drivers filling up their tanks for the week will find a relief in gas prices.
GasBuddy is reporting Toledo's gas price have fallen 16 cents to $3.33 per gallon. Last week's national average was about $3.63 per gallon.
Analysts said Toledo prices have dropped about 30 cents from one year ago.
"While gas prices in Anderson, SC have hit $2.99 per gallon in the last week, nationally, pump prices have also seen drops amounting to an average drop of a nickel per gallon," said GasBuddy.com Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. "Prices finally have dropped under their year ago values, just in time for those last minute vacations before school starts.
DeHaan said the rest of the summer will likely see prices similar to this week's gas prices, but more significant relief will arrive around mid-September when prices nationally could be 10-25 cents per gallon lower than where they are today.
