By 10 p.m., on Tuesday, the westbound lanes of the Ohio Turnpike remained closed near Wauseon following an accident.
According to the Toledo Blade, the roadway is expected to be closed into the morning hours for cleanup.
The Ohio State Highway Patrol told WNWO that part of the issue was a hazmat spill.
Since the accident occurred, around 5:30 p.m., traffic was diverted from mile marker 34 using the Delta exit.
