It's been more than 35 years since Teamsters boss Jimmy Hoffa disappeared and the search for his body is heating up, again, in suburban Detroit.
Police in Roseville say they will take soil samples from under a driveway after a man said he believes he witnessed the burial of Hoffa.
According to Roseville Police Chief James Berlin, he says his office is "not claiming it's Jimmy Hoffa" but is "investigating a body that may be at the location."
Berlin says state environmental officials found "an anomaly" last week while they used radar to check the driveway.
A soil sample will be taken Friday and then tested at Michigan State University for human decomposition.
Hoffa was last seen outside an Oakland County, Michigan restaurant on July 30, 1975. There have been rumors about the location of his body for years. People have claimed everywhere from the end zone of the old Giants Stadium to a horse farm in Michigan.
Hoffa once said, "I don't intend to have the impression left that I'm controlled by gangsters. I'm not controlled by them."
The FBI believes Hoffa was murdered by the mob, but no one has been able to find his body.
Where do you think Jimmy Hoffa is buried? Do you find it interesting or funny when new claims are made?
