Ohio State Highway Patrol announced the location for the checkpoint in Williams County Friday morning.
The checkpoint will take place on U.S. 127 from 9 p.m. - 1 a.m. Friday. Authorities urge drivers to think twice before drinking and driving. The department received federal grants to set up checkpoints.
Other counties in Northwest Ohio have set checkpoints during the week. Sylvania Township will announce its checkpoint location Friday.
Officials said about 500 vehicles drove through the checkpoint in Defiance County Thursday evening.
