Winter storm warnings are still in effect for southeast Michigan and Ohio counties east of I-75. Ice Storm Warnings are still in effect for counties west of I-75. All warnings are in force until Friday afternoon. Some counties north of the Michigan and Ohio border will see three to five inches of snow. Some areas may see even more as heavy bands of snowfall are crossing southern Michigan.
Ice is a problem for many areas as the temperature hovers at the freezing mark. Fulton, Lucas, Hancock, Waseon, Wood Counties are under a level one snow emergency. Roads are snowcovered and hazardous. Seneca County is under a level two snow emergency. The Sheriff asks drivers to stay off roads unless it is necessary.
Snow, sleet, freezing rain and rain will stay in the region until late afternoon.
