Winter Weather moving into NW Ohio

TONIGHT:

It begins!

Snow will be on the radar just after midnight with accumulation beginning shortly after that.

Overnight lows in the middle teens with light winds lead into Friday morning.

FRIDAY MORNING:

Delays and cancellations LIKELY.

While we won’t experience BLIZZARD conditions tomorrow, we will see several hours of incredibly low visibility.

Roadways will be hazardous with snow building on local surfaces at a rate of up to ½” per hour. Crews will struggle to keep up with side roads.

FRIDAY MIDDAY:

A narrow band of heavy snow will fall along the OHIO/MICHIGAN border, brigning highest accumulation totals along and north of the Turnpike.

Cities with the most drastic impact will include: Delta, Maumee, Perrysburg, Rossford, Toledo, Sylvania, Wauseon.

In these particular areas, 6-8” will accumulate. Get the snow-blowers ready!

FRIDAY EVENING:

The commute in the evening will be just as bad as the morning commute. Snow will not cease until after 8pm.

SATURDAY:

A mixed precip event will likely cause some icing on the roads this weekend.

Highs both Saturday and Sunday will be near the freezing point.
