Woman attacked, robbed outside Toledo carryout

Police are searching for the man seen in surveillance video attacking and robbing a woman at a North Toledo carryout.

The incident occurred late Thursday night at the Stop & Go at 3504 Lagrange and Manhattan Blvd. According to police, the suspect entered the store around the same time as the victim, who came in to cash a check. After doing so, she stuffed the cash into her bra and exited the store.

The victim was followed out into the parking lot by the suspect, who then immediately grabbed her and pulled her to the ground. He proceeding to violently attack the victim until he was able to pull the money from inside her shirt. He then fled down Manhattan on a bicycle. The victim suffered minor injuries.

The suspect is described as a light-skinned black male with a shaved, bald head and thin goatee. He appears to be in his 20's or 30's. He was last seen wearing a white t-shirt and baggy dark-colored pants.
