Wood County Health District plans to expand
WOOD COUNTY, Ohio (WNWO) - The Wood County Health District is looking to expand its already one-stop shop. Currently, they have a health and wellness center and a pharmacy. They serve everyone from infants to the elderly.
The latest plans include expanding the building to offer dental services.
“There will be a five dental operatory unit, along with laboratory offices and X-Rays," said Diane Krill, Chief Executive Officer for Wood County Health Center. "We will be able to offer comprehensive dental offices."
The health center is in the process of going through agreements with construction companies. They hope to break ground in a few weeks and have the dental services up and running by late fall.
