ROSSFORD - Crews have finished clearing a wrong-way crash on I-75 Thursday morning.

Officials closed down the southbound lanes between Buck and Wales roads in Rossford for an hour as crews cleared the scene.

Ohio State Highway Patrol said

the crash was reported

shortly after 10 a.m. near mile 198.

83-year-old Sophie H. Pecuszok, of Walbridge, had been driving north in the southbound lanes, according to troopers. Her car eventually struck a 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt in the left lane of traffic. The driver of that vehicle, Kristopher Widdersheim, 28, of Toledo, was wearing a seatbelt. He was treated on the scene for minor injuries.

Pecuszok was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, according to Lt. Jerrod Savidge of the Bowling Green Patrol Post.

Troopers say alcohol and/or drugs were not a factor in the crash. An investigation in ongoing to determine where Pecuszok entered the interstate.
