Friends, family and ordinary citizens honered a Toledo officer killed in the line of duty.
Today, Hooters on Monroe Street is holding its annual buffett dinner to remember Detective Keith Dressel who was gunned down in 2007.
Organizers say we cannot forget the officers who've given the ultimate sacrifice for our safety. Detective Dressel's mother says she's overwhelmed by the support for her son.
The event goes until 10pm. The cost is $15.
Proceeds from today's buffet will go to the Officer William Miscannon Scholarship Fund at Owens Community College in memory of Dressel.
