Dick Van Dyke will be presented the Screen Actors Guild's Highest Honor

Actor Dick Van Dyke, 86, will be presented the Screen Actors Auild's Highest Honor, the SAG Life Achievement Award.

The award is given annually to an actor who shows the "finest ideals of the acting profession." Van Dyke won three straight Emmys for his '60s comedy "The Dick Van Dyke Show."

To the younger generation, he's probably best known as Bert in "Mary Poppins." He will receive the award at the 19th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, which airs live on TNT and TBS on Jan. 27, 2013. The awards show starts at 8 p.m. ET.
