Disneyland, Disney World jack up ticket prices

Disneyland tickets are nearing $100 for adults.

Money doesn't buy happiness, but the Happiest Place on Earth must have missed the memo.

Disneyland announced ticket price hikes over the weekend, bringing a one-day, one-park pass for adults to $92, the Associated Press reports. Kid tickets aren't far behind, now totaling $87.

According to Reuters, the increase is five times the rate of inflation. The new pricetag went into effect on Sunday at both Disneyland and Disney California Adventure parks.

Disney World ticket prices also jumped from $89 to $95 for adults.

Families looking to get the most bang for their buck can find ticket bundles at, buy cheaper tickets in advance online or check with their local AAA for discounts.
