Guns N' Roses offers fans unique chance to buy used tour gear

Guns N' Roses is selling used touring gear from the band's warehouse in California to make room for new gear as the band prepares for upcoming shows this year.

Hard rockers Guns N' Roses are well known for high-energy, grandiose live performances with a riotous attitude. Now fans can own a piece of "The world's most dangerous band's" storied history as GNR is selling pieces of used touring equipment on eBay.

The equipment comes from the depths of the band's warehouse in Santa Monica, CA. The touring crew has handpicked items to make room for new gear as the Gunners prepare for upcoming shows. Items will be

at random over the next several weeks under the eBay seller name "dvamp2u."

Some items currently up for auction include custom bass and electric guitars, banners, road cases, wireless microphone monitors and mixing boards. Buyers must pay for shipping and autograph requests will not be honored.

Lead singer Axl Rose is the only surviving original member of the Los Angeles-based band. Since the release of it's 1987 debut album "Appetite for Destruction,"

Guns N' Roses

has rotated through a revolving cast of replacement musicians. Bassist Duff McKagen, drummer Matt Sorum and guitarist Slash all left the band by 1996 to pursue other projects but were present for the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame induction of GNR in April.

Guitarists DJ Ashba, Ron "Bumblefoot" Thal and drummer Frank Ferrer are among the faces that fill out the new Guns lineup. The band has successfully toured through Europe and North America during the past few years to sold-out stadiums, arenas and smaller clubs. Rose and company embark on a 12-date stint at the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas this fall.
