Students upset over digital cover-ups in yearbook

A group of female Utah high school students say they're shocked to discover their yearbook photos were digitally altered to cover up bare skin.
Some Wasatch High School students told The Salt Lake Tribune that they've worn their outfits to school many times. They say higher necklines and sleeves were added to some of the photos, but the alterations were applied inconsistently.
Wasatch County School District says in a statement that students at the Herbert City school were warned when yearbook photos were taken that images might be altered if students violated dress standards.
District officials apologize that the alterations were not uniformly applied and say they're evaluating the policy.
KSTU-TV in Salt Lake City first reported the alterations Wednesday.
