(NBC/KXAS) -- Police in Texas say a teenager camped out inside a Walmart for several days.

The 14-year-old is said to have run away from home. He was found more than two days later hiding out in a 24-hour Walmart stores in the town of Corsicana.

A Walmart spokesperson said the store does not know how long the teen was there. "Initial information that we found definitely showed that he had some things in the area where he was - which is why it was discovered - it was clear he was in that hiding place for a while," said spokesperson Brian Nick.

Nick said there is evidence that the teen visited other parts of the store, but an associate found him coming out of hiding in an aisle of baby items.

"I'm really - I'm surprised somebody hasn't already been doing that because they have everything - you can exist in Wal-mart," said Walmart shopper Lou Walter.
