Deliquent drivers being targeted in Toledo

If you have an unpaid red light camera ticket in Toledo, you may get the boot if you don't pay up.

The City of Toledo hopes to collect about $2 million in unpaid fines with their red light camera fine blitz which kicks off Monday. Toledo Police will now be able to tow or boot vehicles with two or more outstanding violations.

If your vehicle is targeted, you will have to pay your outstanding fines, on top of any towing or storage fees. Drivers can avoid being targeted by calling 1-877-847-2338 to pay fines.

The blitz comes at the suggestion of Toledo Mayor Mike Bell and with the approval of Toledo City Council. The enforcement will last until June 30.
