Ohio-born Kansas governor is double campaign threat

Ohio's been seeing a lot of Kansas Gov. Kathleen Sebelius, a native of Ohio and a possible Barack Obama running mate.

The 60-year-old Sebelius grew up in Cincinnati, the daughter of former Ohio Gov. John Gilligan.

Today she's a moderate Democrat who's twice been elected governor in Republican Kansas.

She's been to Ohio three times in four months, drawn by events honoring her father and throwing in political speeches while she's here.

Her two-state connection makes her valuable to Obama as he pursues his 50-state strategy to put the entire country in play in November.

Sebelius speaks Saturday at the Ohio Democratic Party's state dinner and unofficial kickoff of Obama's campaign in the state.
