Sun, 03 Jan 2010 23:21:11 GMT — On this last full day of the administration of Carty Finkbeiner Toledo citizens reflect on Finkbeiner's 12 years in office and speculate about Toledo's future with Mike Bell in charge. Timiko Fisher hopes Bell will bring change to the Glass City. "I'm glad Finkbeiner's gone, hopefully Mr. Bell will make the city a better place," Mrs. Fisher said. North Toledo resident Charlie Mitchell thinks Finkbeiner did a good job while in office. "Right now we gotta think positive because Carty did some good things for Toledo," Mr. Mitchell said. Despite winning the November 3rd election with over 52 percent of the vote it seems that there are lot of Toledoans who are not too familiar with Mike Bell like Larry Schweinhagen of East Toledo. "I don't know that much about Mr. Bell but he does have a lot of work ahead of him with the city budget being in the red," Mr. Schweinhagen said. Mike Bell will be sworn in Monday, January 4 at 3pm at the Courtyard at Cousino's Navy Bistro. After the inauguration ceremony Bell will attend Toledo City Council's organizational meeting and officially take office at 5:30 pm.
