Voters weigh in on Iott photos

Less than one month away from the November elections, photos of Congressional candidate Rich Iott dressed in a Nazi SS uniform surfaced.

Iott said the pictures were from one of several war reenactments he TMs done since his college years.

It TMs all based on a lifelong interest in military history, said Iott.

Registered voter Mark Paszczykowski says it TMs no excuse.

And what he did even for the reenactment I don TMt think it was right, said Paszczykowski.

Paszczykowski said he believes the photos will have a negative impact on Iott TMs campaign.

Jason Robinson is undecided. He calls the recent controversy an overreaction and says the photos won TMt affect the decision he makes at the polls.

If he wants to portray something in an reenactment and I TMm going to stress that, reenactment because that TMs what it is you know, its not like he is a German soldier, said Robinson.

"Never, in any of my re-enacting of military history, have I meant any disrespect to anyone who served in our military or anyone who has been affected by the tragedy of war, Iott said in a released statement.
