Wellness Wednesday: New Year Nostrant workout
Powerlifting competitors, Doug and Candi Nostrant, have recommended workout routine and tips for your New Year success.
First of all, ease into a new routine. Start working out one or two days a week for a couple weeks, then try adding in another day or bringing nutrition alongside. Don't try to tackle new habits all at once.
Try short workouts with higher intensity. Working out more than 45 minutes to an hour might do more harm than good at first.
Attempting a brisk weight training circuit can help you build muscle and burn calories at the same time. Try target upper body muscles in groups of three exercises-breaking it up with lunges or squats.
