The Bowling Green Lady Falcons and the Lady Rockets of Toledo meet once again on the hardwood on Saturday.
Both teams are defending MAC champions, UT won the regular season crown and BG took home the tournament championship. UT has won the last two regular season meetings by a combined four points.
This season the young Falcons are 10-0 and sit atop the East Division, the Rockets are 8-2 and tied with Eastern Michigan for the lead in the West. Both coaches have differing views on who will be the underdog when the two teams take the court.
"For the first time in a long time we're the underdog again," said BG head coach Curt Miller. "We view Toledo as the team to beat. We have all year."
"They're a team that's won six out of seven conference championships, they've been to the NCAA Tournament," said UT head coach Tricia Cullop. "I think if there's an underdog, it would be Toledo."
The two teams meet at Savage Arena at noon on Saturday. The men's teams tip-off from the Stroh Center in BG at 4pm.
