A line of scarlet and grey waited to meet former Ohio State Buckeyes, DeVier Posey and Dan 'Boom' Herron at the Westfield Mall on Saturday.
The two, along with former Toledo Rockets' Eric Page, signed autographs and took pictures with fans at D&D Sports.
All three young men are hoping to be taken in next month's NFL Draft and have spent their days since their college season's ended working out, participating in pro days, and visiting with fans.
"Go out and see people in the community like today...I love doing things like that," Herron said.
Both Posey and Herron missed substantial time this past season after being involved in 'Tattoo-gate' at the university. Players sold championship rings, jerseys, and other memorbilia in exchange for tattoos. The scandal eventually cost head coach Jim Tressel his job.
They've answered questions about the scandal from pro scouts and coaches and say they're both ready to move on from past mistakes.
"Make sure you address the issue and be honest about it and mae sure you take full responsibility for it and just try to move forward," Posey said.
"All they really want to know is have you learned from your mistakes and I let them know that [I have]," Herron said.
