The Toledo Rockets football team took their talents to the hardwood Sunday for a fun-filled afternoon on wheels.
The Toledo Crash Wheelchair Football team visited the University of Toledo Recreation Center to take on its biggest rival, the school's football team.
Members of this year's Rockets football team went head-to-head with the Crash for a game of football on the hardwood court. The sport follows the same rules as traditional football, but is played with a Nerf ball, and requires all players to move around in wheelchairs.
The Toledo Crash, an integrated wheelchair football team that increases awareness, has been a part of the community since 2003. The team creates opportunities for sports enthusiasts with and without disabilities to come together with football at the center.
The Rockets will next take the field on Saturday for their Spring Game at the Glass Bowl. Game time is set for 1 p.m.
