Rockets end perfect run against No. 16 Kansas

Toledo's undefeated season came to an end in Kansas Monday night.

An undefeated Toledo basketball team fell to No. 16 Kansas Monday night, marking the Rocket men's first loss of the season.

The Jayhawks (9-3) built a 16-point lead early in the second half on the heels of Andrew Wiggins and Joel Embiid.


(12-1) made one final charge, using some hot outside shooting and sloppiness on the part of Kansas to get within 81-73 on a 3-pointer by Julius Brown with 3:23 left in the game.

Kansas finally put the game away with an easy dunk that gave the Jayhawks an 88-76 lead with less than 2 minutes remaining.

The Rockets' undefeated season came to and end with a 93-83 finish in Kansas.
