Last week the NFL Draft came and went with Eric Page's name never being called. No matter, shortly after he was picked up by the Denver Broncos.
Page signed autographs at Fifth Third Field during the Mud Hens game against Columbus on Saturday.
Afterward, he took time to talk to WNWO about playing at the next level and catching passes from future hall of famer, Peyton Manning.
"It's going to be an honor...I'm just going to go out there, try my hardest not to drop them, but just go out there and learn is the main thing," Page said.
The wide receiver will leave for the mile high city on Thursday.
As for the game, Toledo put two runs on the board in the first and rode magnificent pitching from Andy Oliver to a 2-1 victory.
