For Bowling Green junior center Chip Robinson, this weekend's road game for the Falcons at Miami is a homecoming.
Robinson is a native of Middletown, OH which is located about 30 minutes east of Oxford. In fact, his brother Geoff used to play tight end for the Redhawks and was part of Miami's 2003 MAC Championship team that won the title on BG's home turf.
The Falcons are 20-42-5 all-time in the rivalry with the Team Down South, including last year TMs 24-21 loss in the fog at Doyt Perry Stadium. That win helped Miami take home another MAC Championship.
BG will be trying to rebound from a tough loss to Wyoming last week in which a game tying extra point was blocked in the closing seconds, but according to Robinson they TMre ready to open MAC play.
[We] just got to come out and win, that TMs our big thing|It was a sour note to lose to Wyoming but it TMs a new day and we TMve got come out and beat the Redhawks.
