UT head coach Tricia Cullop, rallied her back onto the court for the second half where they stormed back with big three-pointers and lots of hussle. Jessica Williams hit a three-ball to give the Rockets a two point lead late in the game. Sophomore Naama Shafir then put UT up 64-63 with what would prove to be the game-winning score. Junior Melissa Goodal followed up with a layup to put the Rockets up by three.
In the last seconds of the outing, the Falcons' Tracy Pontius put up a desperation three-pointer that was off the mark, sealing the win for the Rockets.
