Toledo's baseball team could not get any offense going against Michigan as the Wolverines blanked the Rockets 7-0 Wednesday at Ray Fisher Stadium.
Michigan offense exploded in the first inning scoring four runs in its first at-bat. The Wolverines added a few more runs in the third inning thanks to a three-run home run from Kevin White.
UT's offense was limited to only four hits against the Wolverines, tying its fewest runs in a game this season. Junior Tyler Grogg (1-for-4), junior Jacob North (1-for-1, 2BB), junior Zach Michael (1-for-2) and freshman Deion Tansel (1-for-4) collected the four runs for the Rockets.
Toledo hits the road to face Ball State for an important three-game series. Friday's game is scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. start, while Saturdayâ??s and Sunday's games will start at 1:00 p.m.
