It was a clean sweep for the Bowling Green and University of Toledo men and women's basketball teams Wednesday night.
Louis Orr's crew handled Central Michigan 71-58, at the Stroh Center.
Three Falcons scored 14 points, including A'uston Calhoun who added 11 rebounds.
"We wanted to try to stinrg together a few wins in a row," said Calhoun. "Especially coming off a tough loss at home (a 68-66 loss to Buffalo). We wanted to com back and defend our home court advantage."
BG moves to 3-3 in Mid American Conference play.
As for the UT men, they led from wire to wire in a 63-61 win over Miami, OH.
Sophomore Rian Pearson notched his fifth double-double of the season, finishing with a game-high 23 points and 10 rebounds.
The win was the first in Oxford in 12 seasons and put an end to UT's 27-game MAC road winless streak.
The Rocket women missed their first 11 shots but managed to heat up in the second half and knock off Miami 79-66 in Savage Arena.
Andola Dortch led UT with 25 points and 9 assists.
The Rockets shot 69-percent from the field in the second half and over 54-percent for the game.
"(I'm) very, very proud of our kids," said Cullop. "Because it's difficult when you start out of the gate slow but they never stopped believing."
While the Rockets won at home, Curt Miller's Falcon's journeyed to Ball State where they won 63-52.
Chrissie Steffen had a career-high 22 points.
Bowling Green has now won 10 in a row.
