Hens rally past Paw Sox for Friday win

Mud Hens Ben Guez scores tying run in the 4th

The Toledo Mud Hens rallied in the fourth and fifth innings to defeat Pawtucket 8-5 Friday night at Fifth Third Field.

The Hens trailed 2-0 as they headed to the bottom of the fourth inning when Danny Dorn and Ben Guez both scored runs for Toledo to tie the game up at 2-2. Toledo broke free of the tie in the bottom of the fifth when Danny Worth brought in a run with a single to left. Dorn later doubled to score two runs and put the Hens up 5-3.

Pawtucket scored a run in the top of the six to make it a two run game. Toledo then scored another three runs in the eighth to lead 8-3. The Paw Sox scored another two runs in the ninth but it would not be enough as the Mud Hens held on to win 8-5.
