CLEVELAND (AP) - Cord Phelps hit his first major league homer in the 11th inning, a three-run shot that gave the Cleveland Indians a 5-2 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Sunday. Carlos Santana also connected and the AL Central leaders won their third straight, improving to 23-12 at home by pulling out a game that was delayed by rain in the eighth inning for 1 hour, 57 minutes. Shin-Soo Choo singled off Tim Wood (0-1) with one out in the 11th for his third hit and stole second. Wood intentionally walked Santana to bring up Phelps, who came to bat hitting .100 (2 for 20) since being called up from Triple-A Columbus on June 8.
