Report: Fred Davis suspended for rest of season

      Rogers alum Fred Davis will reportedly be suspended for the remainder of the NFL season for failing multiple drug tests.

      After reportedly failing his third drug test since he entered the NFL four years ago, Washington Redskins tight endFred Davis has been suspended for the remainder of the season.

      According to a report in the Washington Post, the Rogers High School alum tested positive for marijuana right after the lock out.

      Davis is said to be one of eleven players who failed a drug test but only he and teammate Trent Williams will actually be suspended.

      The four game suspension will cost Davis just over $140,000 in salary. He was supposed to make $600,000 this season.

      Davis was not immediately available for comment.
