Pro golfer Se Ri Pak helped show some disabled youngsters who play baseball in a Toledo-area organization how to take a swing at a new sport.
The South Korean is the defending champion and five-time winner of the Jamie Farr Owens Corning Classic. When she was in Toledo on Monday for the Classic's media day, she practiced golf skills with physically and mentally disabled youngsters from the Miracle League of Northwest Ohio.
The Miracle League is one of 15 area children's charities that will benefit from the 2008 Classic. The LPGA tournament is scheduled for July 10-13 at Highland Meadows Golf Club in Sylvania, a Toledo suburb.
Pak has 24 career victories and was inducted into the LPGA Tour and World Golf Halls of Fame last year.
